Went to Japfest on Saturday and Maxxis were there showing some new tyres they are about to launch...one of them being a road legal track tyre! Extremely similar tread pattern to R888's, the bloke I spoke with said it should be available in more than one compound and retailers will be launching it around £50-60 to get a nice big chunk of the market away from Toyo with the R888! So hopefully we might be able to review these soon!

Heybit off topic but didn't want any fanny hole posting, I just got some ACB and there 215/40/15.
My rims are chronos which are 15 inch and a J6.5. Would the tyres fit ok and safe, or is there going to be a problem?
cheers

You mean 8-22-15? If so you really want a 8" rim.
You can fit the 7-22-15 on a 6.5" rim but 7" is preferable.

there 8.0/22.0-15. Ah I take them to me local tyre place and see if they will fit them and what they look like.
Avon say they fit from j7-j8.5 i think.
Wish I kept me TD'S they were J7 lol.
thanks and sorry for the digression.
