r888 pressures
Just checking so i dont ruin whats left of my 888s what sort of pressures are reccomended
My cars a little lardy with full interior ect probably 890/900kg at a guess cause ive removed the sound deadening its not very hard sprung and has no camber added to it
They will be used only on track as ones allready close to its markers so was tbinking 28 psi front 26 rear but wanted to check as this is my first time with them
I run my road tyres at 31/29 and get nice flat wear

I have silverstone type RR, and I was told to start with 25 and go from there.
But not the same trye but close enuf, but it bit trail and error see which works best I guess.

I'd go with what danny says but make sure the rears are lower than the fronts by arund .2 bar (i dont work in psi but that works out at around 3 psi lower). Actually I'd say have 24 psi at the rear and 26-27 at the front. Otherwise you'll stuff the back end into an immoveable object.

for alex i agree there ad.
but in genral, on track i run more psi in the rear. only a few psi but it seems to help. helps turn in with my standard torsion bar setup. although with thicker bars i wouldnt do this.
also, i only used to run 18psi in the front

that seems way too much pressure, if your happy with them then fair enough.
i got my figures from the head of toyo motorsport. he advised me on 18psi for my viechle weight etc.

I had been running mine way to high 36psi cold but at Mallory ran 32pdi cold and handled faultlessly would have thought 24 to low?

i spoke to a few people who are trye suppliers for alot of motorsport events and races, and they all tell me about 24-25 psi on semi slick type tyres due to the compound and compound movements, but was 18 was too low for my type tyres ( SILVERSTONE TYPE RR) as the compound would move around too much at that low psi.
all said around 24-25 psi, but just want i was told not used the tyres yet on the track so going to have to do abit of messing around to get the pressure right.

Glad noticed this post as have been running mine way to high!! Will try 24-26psi now as dropping to 32psi made a noticeable difference and the Middlesbof mine do wear out quicker. Also when spoke to gnc he said to have 3psi higher pressure in rear on front wheel drive as front get hotter so will naturally need lower pressure to stop being tale happy? What your opinion guys

I tried 18 psi in mine last time,
They were ok but a little bit wallowy, front right inflated well when hot but others were struggling a little. Try 24 and check them after coming in. Bearing in mind there cooling down all the way since the last hard corner....

Rear tyres on a saxo or 106 never seem to get hot anyway. Fact.
Numerous times ive come in off a stage and the fronts would be boiling and the rears hardly even warm.
If you got weight over the back however you can get more heat into them and push harder.

I use 22-24psi cold which heat up to 28-30psi (on the fronts). And 26psi cold for the rears. I've never really messed around with them too much as I'm more into getting out on track as much as possible. I don't think I would really know what I was looking for as well to be honest, but it handles just fine the way it is!

i have found when pressing on in dry the tyre feels to roll if i use much less at the front. i lower them when its wet to get a larger contact, but then i am not going as quickly so theyre less likely to be pulled off the rim etc.
also i like a high tyre pressure as my suspension is not heavy like some of the 300+lb springs and heavy bars some use. your suspension will work the tyre more if its stiff and pressures will raise more than a soft set up.
i run more pressure at the back than the front, even in wet.
