i agree, but the only way is to learn, this is my second saxo.. the first of which ive modded, and i just need to learn really..i take pride in my car hence why i want it sorted, i jsut made a mistake and will pay for the consequences ha , still doesnt stop the school girl clunge flocking in though

Dont worry we all make mistakes. I tried loads of things on my first saxo, yeh fucked some up then fixed them.
Just not many people take a wood saw to metal

fill that with paint for your colour code and let it to dry. sand it flat using wet and dry 2500grit then polish it back up using any heavy compound by machine. either that or a bodyshop.

Looks like the boot is bubbling in the bottom of the photo. If thats the case, a re-spray would be the best bet.

looks like you damaged the glass too... i'd say get a new bootlid, otherwise sand, fill, touch up and buff, and keep an eye on it

how can anyone make such a tits up of a job just on de-wipering the boot???? just how?
please for your sake and the rest of the car dont touch anything else.
id say if you want it looking perfect you need a new boot and for love of god get someone else to de-wipe it. dont go anywhere near a saw if i where you, mite be your finger next mate lol
