Default What pads to go with standard disks?

To start off with ive got a VTR
Lowered 60mm front 40mm back.
Trackday tyres
Bilstein Grp n shocks on rear.
Induction kit
Thats about it

Ive recently upgraded to track day tyres with superior grip to normal budget road tyres.

Ive done plenty of track days on standard disks n pads but on my last trackday i had my track day tyres on and they absolutl killed my disks n pads.

With standard disks what are the best pads i can buy that will last longer than one track day,

Next year im upgrading to something better ie bigger disks etc but for the time being i need something that will last atleast 2 track days

Cheers
Dean

Our saxo stock hatch customers use CL brakes RC6. RC5+ would be more suited to a car that is driven to the track.

There are far better compounds than Mintex though. Had 1144's - not bad but definitely not amazing, loads of brake dust. 1155's - better than 1144s but again, the bite just isn't there IMO.

EBC Yellow stuffs - better than the mintex pads around Anglesey and Oulton Park. Great bite from cold and the feel through the pedal is great.

Carbon Lorraine RC6 - Expensive to buy but wow, they are the best pad I've ever used. Can brake far later into corners and the confidence within braking increased massively.

Trying out some EBC yellow stuffs next - in talks with EBC about getting some trial pads, will see what comes of it!

Having said that though I have M1144's on my CTR, the perfect road pad IMO, not the best on track however!!
