the weights always being diagonally paired. so when corner weighting it is hard to get a nice balance. as increasing weight on one corner will increase weight on the opposite diagonal. so to get weight off the front right you would lower it. but this would also take weight off the left rear. which is the lightest already

Should that last bit be the other way round? Higher to take weight off the front right, but that would make the rear left heavier?
Or Lower the left front but that would make the lightest corner lighter?

wonder how hard it would be to spin the engine round. 205's have exhaust mani's at the back, certainly doable.

Well, you could do it, and just use a Honda gearbox as they spin the "wrong" way. Fabrication would be a pain in the arse, but it would work in theory.
AX Sport ftw.

Iv stripped all the sound proofing out, put the carpet back in, removed all door cards and replaced them with plastic door cards and the rears done too. Still have the back seats in and have no spare wheel . Hope I never get a puncture lol.

You only really need to be exact with weight distribution in Motorsport, when your trying to make up every 10th/100th of a second. When i was working with a race team on a formula Renault we had it perfect on the front and only 0.5kg out on the rear, with the driver sitting in it too.
