The car looks mint, but those wheels, i cant quite grasp the consept, yeah youv done a fucking awesome job of refurbing them, but seriously ? driving around with TEDDY BEARS on your wheels ? i cant fathem it out, just seems a little gay / peadophileish surly the novelty will wear off and ule think fuck, i look like a twat with these on my car lol ?
No disrespect like as they have been refurbed pretty awesome only ever seen silver ones
Just my opinion as i think the money could have been better spent for example som lm reps or somthing ?

As said above really.
With LMs, RMs or RSs it'd be just another Golf on BBS/Replicas.
You just said it yourself, you haven't seen another set like mine. On top of that, the attention these wheels get is ridiculous! Most people tend to shy away from commenting on peoples car as they walk by but the amount of times I've had "Those wheels are amazing" makes it worth all the work.
On top of that, As Tom said, original Teddies are rare as fuck, especially in this condition.

as much as i hate vw credit where its due (lauren!) for doing something different. totally agree with it being just another dub dub dubby with bbs, lenso etc

Took a few more photos today. Not sure how much metal is left on the bottom of the car though, scraped an awful lot today. Twice on flat road at 50mph!
