i was thinking of getting all the covers and get some green wire covers to just hide some of the wires

yehh as you've said - covers on everything, and also, i would add a pipe to the front of the bay so that the air filter gets cold air front as opposed to the hot air it will be getting from the mani and general engine area = hope that makes sense
