Default Seat subframe

Hey guys I'm jus wondering, in the blue book says 5.3.2. The seat must be rigidly located within the compartment and must not tilt, hinge or fold unless it is a production seat fitted with a serviceable locking mechanism preventing independent operation. Don't you for an mot need an adjustable seat? So what do you do for a road legal track car?

Nah, if it's original and slid i needs to function

But a bucket subframe is change of purpose

Ahhh right so if I fit a bucket on a fixed subframe it'll pass an MOT?

It's at the testers discretion, but it should be fine, I think it's more regarding the functionality of OE stuff if it's still there
