Swirling
when i bought the car I did so because of how rust free the shell was and the engine being so accessible. However now I'm looking more into detailing and have realised my car has Los of bad swirling.
Would a machine polisher do or am I needing something more? I'm on a budget so a complete respray is out the question i was just hoping there's something I can do to ease the swirling

So far it's snow foam, 2 buckets & Mit shampoo, rinse then dried haven't really been too bothered as I've been sorting the engine bits and bobs. Still looking at clay baring and polishing just wanted to know if clay bar alone is good enough, do I need a polisher. Which has to be machine if anything no point doing it by hand and not getting the same result if you know what I mean.
Not bothered about the hours, it's only once or twice a year you machine it, isn't it?

clay wont remove swirls and yes your need a machine to remove them really. Clay will just remove anything bonded to the paintwork
