Ah this place brings back some great memories, some fantastic threads, plenty of lols and even more so it reminds me of my youth rocking around in my various saxos.

They were happy, carefree days.

Shame that Sax-P is now, pretty much finished.

There will probably be a few left, that haven't rusted or been chavved up. I don't know of anyone referring to novas as classics, so i kind of doubt this will happen with the citroen.

Was fun to drive, but too much chav image around it. Certainly don't miss the spartan approach to comfort, or knowing that the first supermarket dent would write the car off despite paying triple over the odds for the insurance...

I think they're at rock bottom at the moment, maybe even starting to creep up. It wouldn't be a bad buy if you found a really clean, standard, low mileage one. I don't think it'll ever reach the heights of the 205 GTi, XR2, Renault 5 GT Turbo, Golf Rallye etc. and they'll probably always be overshadowed by the 106 GTi/Rallye. But maybe still better a better return over money in the bank.
