if they let moisture in you need to either take the lens off and reseal them with some transparent sealant or something like, or if you can just put them near a radiator to dry out and put abit of sealant in the gap where its lettin it in if you know, if not just put it all way round

One question.. this might be really stupid but how do you glue it back again? you use the same glue that was already there or do you have to buy a specific type of glue?

you wanna use new glue as the old stuff has probably been on there a fair time.

you want it to be waterproof as other wise you'll get moisture building up on the inside of the lense.

glue wont work i used waterproof bathroom sealant for mine, worked a treat lol

Going to follow this at the weekend, I think you could do this cheaper tho as the laquer and primer isnt needed in my opinion

If you're doing them in black then you won't need laquer, but i'd use primer mate!

I want to do mine black, But scared i might pain the wrong bit and make the lights become illegal, So what part of the light am i ALLOWED to spray so they are still road legal and will pass the MOT! Thanks!

Great guide mate did this last week but my oven is fan assisted so i melted the bottom half of my cluster haha luckily i had a spere in the shed was only in for like 3 mins then i smelt burning plastic then looked to find the bottom drooping down aha live and learn eh.

Its your car mate.

But Im going to be blunt here.

The reflectors of hallogen headlights are so Important to give off a good light. They also deflect the heat coming from the bulb. If the heat doesnt blister the paint then the plastic will possibly melt/warp.Painting over them is daft as daft can be. Itll fail its MOT in a heartbeat. Not to mention how proper xenon bulbs are ilegle without projectors.
