Cheers for the guide Davies.
Is there any way you can tart up your manifold heatshield? Or remove the rust and muck thats accumulated there?
Cheers
Ruddy

You can buy a Spec R chrome manifold cover
Dont think they are that much if you want a little bling under the bonnet

started mine today as my cars off the road after i bumped it. im just using ordenarly paint and 800 grit wet and dry in between coats letting it dry over night tonight before i clear coat it tomorrow!.ill let you kno whow the paint hold out if you want mate? i imagin it will be okay as it will not get as hot as a manifold cover which did blister when i just sprayed it with regular paint
Andy
**edit**
read someone askin the price for the new gasket, i got one for £6 from my local car parts shop although i would imagine t
you could get them cheaper off the net!

Does it definately not have to be heat resistant paint? also other than the chrome covers - has anyone actually painted the mainfold cover? - show pics
