I don't think the BRM will ever go for anything decent. Numbers are already low and prices aren't really increasing...
Mercedes SLC or a Jag XJC might also be decent.

I think just ford in general. The 2009 Focus RS has the same 0-60 time and top speed as a diesel 335.

Thats not that bad is it? The 335D is a quick car.
The focus is still front wheel drive which is its downfall, fancy diff or not.

Never heard this? I assume the GT3 runs the same lump as the RS? Pretty sure it's never had any problems - to be fair it's driven fairly hard (never redlined - apparently Porsche can plug the car in to verify and won't market cars that have seen the redline more than 3 times or something?) but done such little mileage, regularly serviced etc it may be that. Odd

Yeah ivd heard that, talking to one of the salesmen I know well a few months back, any porsche they get on trade in will get plugged into and if it's been redlined they won't touch it.
997 GT3 spent moe time with its engine out, luckily it was all under warranty but they couldn't fix the problem and they took it back

Ahh I didn't know it was all Porsche's... interesting to know. I just figured it was becase the GT3/RS units were so high revving they're on the limit as they are - makes sense though to be fair.
I heard the post 993 911's had problems and had work done behind their owners backs (e.g. the car would go for a service and come out with a new gearbox bcause the old one had problems) but I know some cars just keep going back for the same issues - my old mans Leon FR had two steering racks and a new alarm unit in its 4 years with us...
