In an Anthricate colour i reckon they would look better, and if they were more subtle mate.
Sorry i couldnt help you fit them btw.

I've had them sitting about for nearly 2 years, so I thought I HAD to fit them sometime. Oh well, at least I know now... Appologies, I'll ask next time before I attempt something like this! Hehe.

i dont think theyd look bad if you had some gravel tyres and proper rally raid style rims on there.
Your car looks more like a streamlined track beast trying to be a super 1600 car with them on.
To be honest though matey if you like them keep them youve done such a good job so far with it .

says it for me toad i get the impression from these your trying to hard to go for a certain look which i hate to say because i do really like your car but just feel the flaps are a no no.

I'm not really going for any specific look.
I bought the flaps about 2 years ago when I got the poly windows. Thought it was about time I fitted them. Obviously not to people's tastes, so I'll be taking them off. At least I gave it a go...
Any opinions / thoughts on what could be done next as far as looks / detail goes?

id leave it how it looked before and focus on other things...
and toad, if people dont like your mods, it shouldnt make you feel you have to remove them! if you like the slag flaps mate, keep em on......
on a side note, you could get the dents out of the side?

i think it looks spot on how it is toad, my primary reason for saying this is because you have built a car for you. It doesnt follow any silly trends and is functional and efficient. If i was you id spend some time with ferg and tidy bits up you want doing as its the little things that always improve the overall look off the car.
I do think the front flaps trimmed down should stay though.

OK, how about this... Before i take them off, i'll trim them down, take some more photos, and see what you think? I agree, they are a bit too 'loud' so to speak.
