I can't guarantee it'll be ready for TRAX, but hopefully...
I'm not planning to get track time there as it's a waste of time at these events. 1st port of call with be Brands for sure!
The S1 box is dying. Need a 1.4XSI box desperately.

Yeah, i think there are a very similar spec. 280 inlet and 280 exhaust, and just under 11mm lift. Yep, got a BV head already. I hope it's up to the job!

It's a flowed head, with the guides all filed down, it's ported, etc, etc. Yep, I would be very happy with 180bhp on Northampton Motorsport's rollers.

Ja! Ph4's. Gut! gut! IIRC, a JP4 head had bigger vales compared to the J4 head. I have a head worked on by Hiflowheads, which has had the following done to it: (taken from their website)
Head is crack tested prior to modification
Cylinder head is skimmed to optimise the compression ratio
Inlet and exhaust valves are re-lapped to their corresponding valve seats
Inlet / exhaust ports are fully ported to optimise gas speed and port velocity
The addition of anti-reversal ratchet on the inlet ports
The addition of high flow, three angle valve seats
Larger inlet valves
New valve stem oil seals
New cam seals
Heads are fully assembled to the valve springs

Indeed, slightly overkill. But hey, leaves room for more future developments!
