That Mac may be for the light controller.
The decks he's using there are the Pioneer CDJ1000's - same as I have

lol i havnt tried decks yet,just getting a basic understanding on highs.mids,lows,bpm etc and the different genres

Ive got decks.
Ive got software. i dont use it. its there as a novelty when trying out something.
As Saxo180 says, get the Numark DJ in a Box kit - the direct drive version or grab some cheap cd decks and a mixer off of the egay.

Not a bad set up that Carlos. What's the mixer a DJM600 or is it one of the Berhinger efforts?

lol, yeah its a behringer djx700, would love the DJM800, but at £1000 its a long time coming at the minute!

Still not a bad set up. I have the Pioneer DJM500 mixer and wouldn't use anything other than Pioneer now. Would love the 909 battle mixer next

yep, its 1 of the best but definately aint cheap! i can remember my first decks, a set off lovely red belt driven KAM's!
