pc world seem to be having a few sales on laptops at the moment so id take a look there. and at least you can see the actual unit before buyin it

It's a decent system for £300 mate
512mb ram is pretty good for a laptop, and an 80gb hdd isn't bad either.
What you going to be using it for mainly?
Sitting with a beer and surfing sax-p or playing games etc?
That one will be spot on for the first option

Yeah it should be cool for that mate,
The processor isn't cut for games as it's a celeron, not pentium, but it will do fine for just general jobs and internet etc
for £280 odd quid can't really complain.

Get at least 1GB of RAM you'll regret 512MB. Windows eats about 200MB of RAM just sitting there doing jack shit

ye 1gig ram so its quick enough, and try to get xp if u can, runs alot better than vista..
