With Sky.

Have been with UK online and tiscali in the past, can't remember who was best tbh, customer service is equally terrible across the board, never been told anything I hadn't tried, or figured out myself, give me the login and password and fuck off .

AOL is the worst though.

I've been with NTL/Virgin, Poopex, Pissnet, Bloody Twats and Tiscashite.

Been with BE since they started and can't fault them at all.
Only pay £17 a month and even though they do not offer an Email service I still get it since I was an existing customer, so I am getting something they used to charge £4.50 for free.
I would say BE is better for advanced users since customer service expect you to know a bit about broadband, i.e how to choose DNS servers etc.

To be honest, If I had to get adsl & didn't have cable in my area I would go with .be and I could get vm adsl for £1.50 a month and still wouldn't it really is poop.

fair usage policy with be is listed here - https://www.bethere.co.uk/web/beportal/fairusagepolicy

unless on the bottom pack doesn't seem to have a set amount which would be good for your high usage

I don't have a fair usage policy on my package.
It's only the BE Lite users that have that.

What what they don't tell you is, although BE are now owned by O2.

The original team who setup BE in 2006 are the same people who run it now.
Whereas O2 have a seperate team to run their Broadband service.

That's why when people ask the question O2 or BE I always say BE since they know what they are doing, Plus O2 are cunts.

PS I love people who say I'm on Virgin Media 50mb it's great, Fibre Optic too.

1) It isn't Fibre Optic, it is Fibre optic under the roads but to your house it is a Coaxial cable.
2) Go over your "fair usage policy" once in a month then you should expect speeds or around 2-5mb during peak times.
1) mine is FO to my house, they put it in from the green box,
2) 50mb service isnt subject to fair usgage, so doesnt get capped

i can get 49.**mbps if wired to the router , tho it sits at around 35-40 on average with wireless.
