tbh i think we should have a sticky explaining what the likes of ASW means, ie an abbreviation sticky
id say it comes under text talk as people dont understand it, especially overseas

i think there should be a spell checker that recognises these abbreviations and then automatically puts the long versions in the post imo

there is a spellchecker, ABC with a tick under it
it will pick up abbreviations as spelt wrong but will give you a list of options, probablies not recognise it though
