Tried that, unplugged it over night so its cooled down, went to try it next day and still the same. Usually solves thing but not this time.

i keep 2 wireless routers for spear just incase, i would go out my mind without internet,
cable were doing an upgrade 2 days ago, only about 10mins down but i lost my mind

sure you've not messed up any settings? sounds like DNS problems if its taking forever to load
times like this you need a spare router :-/ would make troubleshooting so much simpler
but alas, i aint forking out for a spare!

Hmmm...just got home, brother informed me that the connection has just sorted itself out after 3 days of painfully slow internet. Posted a bit too soon me thinks lol.

sorry. we had problems. started off at 2mb. then 1.5 then 1 then 0.2 mb internet
move to telewest mate. never had a problem so far

Got bored of the netgear was not doing what I wanted so took a trip to pc world today and got a n series belkin router, came up on the tills as £70 and I was like it's on the shelves for £60, so we went back and I was right, and she said it's a computer error you will have to pay £70, so out came the advertising right head and I eventually got it for £60. But jesus the n range is FAST. =]

i have a belkin router from 2004 and its still going strong, yeah sure theres a slight buzz from the plug but not much to worry about lol but na never had a problem with belkin i found them better than linksys or netgear i think its called now

I've heard many opinions about Belkin, some say it's crap some say it's good. I have a mate who's had the same one for 4 years now so I'm just gonna have to hope.

you will be fine with belkin, if its wireless remember to wpa up and not wep up lol

Yeah wep is too easy to crack now, my baby cousin could do it. Already got my WPA-PSK2 key in, so much quicker to surf than the old netgear now, with this being an n range router I'm hoping to pull abit more from it

Old router used to get 4mbps, this one gets:
Much better, one the the best BT connections it shows, even though BT are total gash.
