I'm pretty sure some of the Prodigy albums were made on Reason 3. The muddyness didn't stop those selling.

You're referring to "always outnumbered, never outgunned" ,and it's not a 100% Prodigy album either, more like Liam on his bedroom laptop then meeting other artists to record instruments, drums/percussion and vocals. Some of the synths came out of reason and that's about it, each and every track was bounced and reworked in pro tools.
Mc burgers are rubbish but that doesn't stop them selling either. AONOG barely sold silver when all the other albums are multi platinum.
They probably improved the sound algorithm, but I'll wait for the feedback before I consider putting some more dollar towards something I don't necessarily need. I used reason a lot for synths, but now there's also things like massive and reaktor. At least now you can record instead of having to pay extra for the plugin. Quite a leap indeed, they're selling it as in "omg omg, you can plug your gear in now". Meanwhile, every other DAW has been doing it for decades.
Also going to cost a fortune if you want the full package, essentials and refills. Big fat meh from me.
