Default Wi-fi boosters

Herro,

Can anyone recommend from experience any decent wi-fi boosters? I'm led to belive they go into a plug socket? Around £50 to spend

Cheers!

Just knock down the walls between you and the router ... job done.

Srs though, I don't think you will find a lot of difference between makes when it comes to things like this. But to be on the safe side just stick to makes you have heard of e.g. linksys, 3com, cisco, netgear

I only use Wi-fi for my phone. Any other device is hardwired.

Get those homeplug things, they essentially use your powerlines as a means to transfer the signal from a router. If you go from your router, into one, you can then plug another RJ45 cable into a homeplug somewhere else, making you hard wired rather than wireless, albeit with some slight speed drop.

got some dlink powerline boosters the other day for my bungalow - wireless. pleasently suprised. full signal, no drop out etc. relatively simple to install and get working too.

wireless were about £50, or wired £35 - i wish i knew about these sooner!!

from ebuyer website
