Nahh not coilovers just the shocks, why? I feel a bit ripped off tbh, I bought some rear spax shocks for £36 posted which are adjustable and I looked up they're good, inasked the seller if he has the front for sale and he said yeah £70 for the lot posted so I bought them. When they arrived I realised that the fronts were ta technix, bit pisses off but my fault for not checking haha

i have heard the reason the coilovers are shit is because the dampers are too soft softer than oe

billys are gd but hard for road use!

i used a 60mm apex spring and damper kit with spax kryptonite adjustable rears and its jus right i think

Just went for a drive over the moors, the rear shocks have changed the handling of the car completely! Can't wait to get the front shocks and lower brace put on! Awesome drive!

I've got TAs on the front, I don't think they are that bad- I wouldn't notice knocks and stuff though, I need new ball joints and front springs aha

Plastic weld? Can get a soldering iron for like £15 or most people will have one haha

The rear shocks transformed the way the car handled IMO, but my old ones had pretty died and rattled lol so the car doesn't rattle as much inside haha can't wait to get my lower brace on and get these other shocks fitted lol

Today was a pretty productive day, managed to get my new bumper on which fits better with no flaking paint or cracks in it, fitted an omp lower strut brace, fixed my washer bottle and put my new inner arches back in the front.

Will give it a clean and polish tomorrow and then might go and get some pictures.

Next thing I will be buying for this is 2 rear tyres, not sure wether to get toyo t1rs or rainsport 2s.

Hoping ill sort out some front shocks as well soon.

No updates really, got a lot on ATM it planning on doing a couple of track days with this, so thought I'd mention what my plans are...

2 x omp bucket seats
2 x 3" omp harnesses
Omp corsica steering wheel with snap off boss
Strip the rear, door cards, boot trim, carpet and seas etc.
266 brake set up with braided lines
Full set of t1rs or rainsport 2s

Then probably get a gti/ mint vts and swap most my parts over.

Long term would be a cage. Most the parts above ill be able to take to another car so if I get bored I've not lost much money.

Although I wanted omp buckets and wanted 2 I picked this up the other day for a price I couldn't refuse.

Also hit 120k on the clock.

Next update should be after I've bought a harness and fitted it along with the bucket.

The weekend coming up I'm also going to be replacing track rod ends and giving all the suspension parts a check over for any wear and tear so I can eat a list together of what needs replacing, mainly for a price of mind.

No one interested in my thread? Haha

Small update...

Love it so far, feels really nice to use, might need to look for a slim line boss though because when I get a harness and fit the bucket ill need a snap off boss, with the snap off boss on my current boss it would bring the wheel to close to me.

Few more snaps from a clean the other day...

And my alloys need a refurb really bad...

What do people think?

Got some omp harnesses lined up and a new genuine in primer from citroen tail gate handle waiting for me...

Also really want to start detailing so need to look into machine polishers etc.

Thanks for looking.

Although no one is interested by the looks, I fitted my seat and harness tonight.

It's not the most comfortable and it is a daily, but if I get used to it ill purchase a better more comfortable seat in the future.

But my plan is to now track this providing t passes the mot in October... If it fails terribly ill gets a gti and track that.

Thanks for looking!
