Default Battery removal/charging

Hi all

I've got a 2002 Saxo which is still going strong. I've been away for a while and haven't driven it for a few weeks and the battery is dead.

I've got a battery charger, but I was just wondering if I need to know anything before I remove the battery for an extended period of time? Am I going to clear any codes etc? (Apart from the radio code which isn't an issue). I'm more thinking along the lines of immobilisers etc.

Thanks
