Got some tidy flooring for the garage, runs all the way through to the other side

Then was to tidy up a few blemishes on the rear and paint it black (preferred to the silver so it doesnt show through the bumper holes).

Next up will be painting the interior after some welding work and sorting the damper bushes

Still carrying on doing bits and pieces, got the Satchell chassis strengthening kit welded in as well as welding up holes left over from rubber bungs throughout the car.

Next up was to paint the interior to match the icelandic exterior

Interior was fully stripped then sanded down, zinc primed then painted, also removed the secondary skin on the centre tunnel. I now need to come up with a mount for the handbrake.

This is where I'm up to now in putting it all back together

Still have a few things left on the never ending list of jobs

For a track car it's such a quality job. Not a half arsed job like that 530d driving benders saxo.

BeanieSport did this for mine (utilising the original saddle mounts) - https://scontent-lhr3-1.xx.fbcdn.net...a0&oe=579247C5

Did you retain the mounting plate for the handbrake?

I think Chris cut it off the original saddle and welded it to the original exhaust tunnel, and re-inforced the actual bolt holes too - https://scontent-lhr3-1.xx.fbcdn.net...17&oe=57562F06

Closer picture here
I added the bias valve myself, and got the lines made up by - Llama 4x4 however, the short line from cylinder the bias is leaking and I can't get hold of David. I got it direct from Satchell at £155

Finally got this thing back in one piece after painting the interior. Had a few things made and powder coated, one of them being this sweet battery tray which is tiny. Solid bushes on the rear shocks from Leda to replace the Powerflex ones that failed and dash lightened again.

That's the end, nothing more to do on the car and it looks to be sold. New owner should be picking it up when I get back from Brazil next month.

Hopefully it doesn't get broken for parts and is used for what it was built for

What brakes do you run on it? my mate was intrigues after I showed him the picture to show that an 80mm stud was enough even with spacers
