VTS major down on power
Was driving the car fine tonight and then the next thing I know I could put the pedal to the floor and nothing happened just a rough sounding noise coming from the exhaust, no bangs or anything to explain this and its to dark to see anything thats broken. Car will barely do 40 in second and is reluctant to rev over 4k and is very sluggish getting there.
Engine dead?
Oh and the idle is aweful spluttering all the time and cutting out

Get a compression test done, both wet and dry.
Check oil and water for any telltale signs

Went out to the car this morning and started it and it sounded the same very rough, gave it a few light revs to stop it from stalling and it fixed itself so now thinking its the coil pack
