just thought id post mine as I am very very happy with it!

20 years old, 2 years NCB
16v converted 106 quicky

every thing declared including the engine conversion , fully comp, like for like cover, any extra cosmetic/performance mods for no extra charge and an extra 10bhp to play with for free of charge!
I know 10bhp isn't exactly that much but still!

all for just over a grand really cant complain at that tbh!

Really mate, the Volvo was £480 and that was the cheapest I could find anywhere... I've not even searched for a better quote on the 7!

That's when you realise insurance on a saxo is ridiculous. Mind you I've never seen a boyracer in a 735i.

I doubt you'd drive it like a saxo and enjoy the 6 mpg. Besides that's not the point with a 2 ton cruiser, you don't need to boyrace everywhere. It's much better to look down on chavs and their saxofiestacorsas while they rag it in their narrow power band vehicles.

More comfy ey, should have bought an audi / merc / jag. In that aspect, don't change the wheels or lose more comfort.

Yes, holy fuck it's expensive, welcome to zee german klub.

To be fair, my only other ventures in to zee Germans have been an E30 and a B5 Passat. This club seems to be cheaper than the Svede club though!

For those who pay around 1000 a year (that are 20-25),do you just put yourself as the policy holder or you add one of your parents as named driver? Thanks.

Most people put parents as named drivers as it tends to reduce the quote. Try it with and without to see if it makes a difference.

I did for the first 3 years and it saved me around £200-£300
This year it worked out more to add my dad as he has a 3 year restricted driving licence.
