Exclamation Lowering

Im wanting to get my vtr lowered asap, im not too fussed about handling as the local plod love to dish out tickets for driving like evil knievel, however i dont wish to spend a fortune on suspension for a car that i may get bored of in a few months and sell it for another bit of fun, now ive heard allsorts about going to low and not low enough, im going euro look, getting some 15" 205 speedlines so want to lower it far but not so much as to be scrubbing the wheels everytime i see a corner, would 60mm be too far?

60mm might rub on 15" on full lock, mine did on vts wheels! But wasnt a problem though.

On some speed bumps the front spliter scrapes and the exhaust. Not all speed bumps though. You should be fine, just take care while driving
