macro/close up

Hi people had a lil try at some close up shot's earlya. There not great i know, but this is my first try at any of this stuff. I used a tamron 70-300mm 1:2. Looking at now buying a true macro len's as i found it rather fun.

Anybody else gave this a try? Or advise me on how to improve?

2nd is the best, 3rd im guessing is a big crop as its lost alot of IQ.

Not that i can really comment on macro as out of every photo ive ever taken, not one has been macro, i find it that exciting

2nd is best as said, 1st marginally out of focus & last is a major crop & you can tell that
