WI-FI boost
My xbox used to be in my ex missus house and i was on live it was all fine but now weve split, I took away my TV and Xbox, and all now in my house.
But the WIFI in my house is shit, and i struggle to get live, I get get about 20 seconds of live before i get cut off..
Anyway of boosting the WIFI/Router so I can get more signal in my bedroom?
Cheers..

Id recommend changing teh channel of the router first - too many routers in the one area on the same channel can lead to interference.

If it's just low wifi signal, would it be possible for you connect by cable at all?
If you buy some of these you can pin the wire along the ceiling or skirting boards, so it's out of the way!

Use a cable.. Or is that not an option?
I use a network cable from my router to xbox, so i don't get silly wireless speeds

Get home plugs, they plug into your normal electrical sockets and carry the network signal, you need one at the router end and one at the Xbox end

Homeplugs are awesome. Run em everywhere. Got one on the sky hd box, one on the CCTV, one in the garage. Highly recommended!

As said further up, i have to log in to the sky admin webpage to change the channel when i lose signal in my room, works everytime. However, i must say those homeplugs sound quite interesting, might have to invest in some of those!

Powerline adapters are what you need, wi-fi is shite for anything more than web browsing on a mobile device.
I'm just about to buy this one as it comes with a very tidy mini switch to connect my 4 devices from a single plug socket.

could it be poor wifi or could it just be that the router needs port forwarding to allow Xbox live. I had this problem with mine, just do a YouTube search for port forwarding your router.
