There guide to stopping the power steering pump rubbing doesnt work. the pics are there but not the article. It says "Premium members only", last time I checked I had a little p next to my name so I thought I should be able to acess this guide. Just thought Id let you know,

what squeek mine didnt squeek before mine rubbed through
all you have to do is bend the pipe out of the way

really? its that simple? will it stay out of the way when you leave it though?
Also, when its stationary the pipe is not where near the beam so how can it rub? but the pipe outer is begging to fray so I assume it is rubbing somehow.

ok but it does it when i am just turning around ie to park going very slowly surly it cant be moving that much crawling along?

yep and its speed related, so if i turn going slightly faster the sqeak frequency speeds up.

standard wheels, standard suspension....
this is what worries me could it be that the previous owner had it lowered and caused the damage to the pipe and this noise I am hearing is something different?

my mates is standard and has been rubbing but not as much as mine did
i think the squeek could be something else

My fucking CV boot was hanging off. Changed it for a new one and clip earlier. Sqeak gone now! All I need to do now is change my bottom engine mount. Doesn't look to hard from the haynes manual but anyone actually done it?
