GMC dont map standard ecu's
angel tuning is just a generic chip not a proper remap so dont waste your cash.
got a tip to get it cheaper, take an ecu with you that has already been mapped, he will copy the program and tweek it, i got mine for £350 at chipwizards

Angel Tuning- On their site it says they do both Chip tuning and remapping. I've dropped them an e-mail to see which one they really do. It did seem a bit cheap for a remap tbh...

Lets start a Sax-p 'Newmans CAM'paign, if we get hundreds of peeps we might all have to pay a tenner!
(Would be nice though wouldn't it)
Followers? Lol have no idea what they do, but if they're beneficial for getting the best out of the cams, would be interested.

I think it's recommended to change the cam followers depeding on the mileage of the engine, the engine I'm going to put the cams in has done 70k, so I'm going to change them.

On the newmans website they are listed as £120 , but I don't know if VAT needs to be added or not. If they can offer such a discount on cams (1/3 off if 10+) then surely they can do a good price on followers too

Joshap1 - basically it depends on what you are after. Most people are going for PH3's as they are pretty much the wildest cams you can fit, without compromising on driveability and needing throttle bodies/rebated pistons etc. The PH3's offer a good increase in bhp and torque once fitted and mapped up.

Same boat as me lad, my S has only ind kit and will have full zorst/manifold by the end of the year, before I fit the cams. Everything else on mine will be totally stock when i cam it. Mystic said as long as your car is lowish miles, the PH3 is alright on the S with just the belt which should be replaced, I believe... and of course will need to be mapped. I'm hoping anyway...

Also joshap1, on the website, they don't seem to do a PH2. So it's either a PH1 or PH3, and i reckon the gains fitting a PH1 wouldn't be worth the money, so if you're looking for cams then PH3's would prob be best for you. Depends on what future mod's you've got planned !!
