far left of the histogram is dark area man

AV mode? I can safely say I wouldn't, and I'm sure you wouldn't either and I'm sure a lot of other people wouldn't. Depends on the sport I guess... Manual or it the lighting is fannying on, Tv mode with Safety Shift anyhooooo

Yep far left of histogram is peaked, and far right is as flat as a 7 year old.

Yep told me to shoot Av mode, set it at the aperture you want and shoot away, for me thats a bit naff as you can end up with a shutter arsing about all over the shot and totally out of your control. Ill stick with Manual and just start reading my histogram a bit more instead of being lazy.

They are still alot better than id shot previously for athletics as id not shot it in absolutely ages (infact before i had the 70-200 iirc lol)..

I did find spraying and praying was useful bring on the spitfire

t-t-t-t-t-t-t-t-t-t-t-t-tick... will be sweet

well he's a cretin then... can't be arsed with the forums for probably the exact same reason as you.

peaked to the left... dark then... depends where the peak was you can tell instantly how many stops to need to increase the expose by, so it's not really that hard with manual as everyone makes out. top stuff. It's hard to tell how sharp they are really man... what are you using to resize them with? are you using bicubic reduction?

I didnt resize them prior to uploading, so they have been massively compressed with PB. The looked nice and sharp in full res which I was pleased with, and showed some nice facial expressions (found F4 better to use than 2.8 tbh) Yep all a bit to dark, although tbh i see quite alot of darker sports work.

Far to many pixel pinchers I find on the forums who dont really do anything bar hide their own exif and sit there saying everyone elses work is bad etc... (when they dont have any clients themsevles) Ill leave you to have an opinion on that lol!

it was massively to the left, both collums were off the scale. It was my fault though, the sun was right in my face and everything looked blown out shooting at slower shutters/higher isos... (damn 30D screen LOL)
