Out of interest book figure for a oe spec S1 rallye is 825kg according to r/r now say you gut the interior and only have the dash (no deadening seats, belts etc) wiring has been trimmed down to bare min whats needed, all the footwell tar stuff has been removed aswell BUT it has a 16v engine omp 6point cage and some sparco buckets and on steelies roughly speaking around 840/850?

IMO the swiss cheese route is cheating if its a hillclimb car, MSA rules say your not allowed to mod the chassis like that.
If you want to use your 205 thats fine.
I could make my car lighter, it still has std wiring loom fitted.
It will be getting heavier however, Gti fuel tank & pass seat/harness will add weight although a lighter exhaust with single carbon fibre silencer will help to compensate for that.

Got some more for the list...
Piper 4-1 16v manifold = 5.200kg's
16v twin fan setup = 4.350kg's
Jp4 rocker cover setup = 1.205kg
Kam racing alternator pulley = 84grams
Kam racing crank pulley 16v = 228grams
Kam racing gear link rod (long) = 180grams
Kam racing gear link rod (short) = 68grams x2
Standard gear link rod (long) = 128grams
Standard crank pulley 16v = 1.313kg
Standard alternator pulley = 233grams
I'll add them into page 1.
I also have the weight of the window glass for the front including the window mech and spoox front polycarbs. Iv'e just got too find out were ive put the paper i wrote it down on
