Default JML - Mantis

Anybody seen this stuff? A lime green liquid in a squirt bottle...
Is it any good? I'm just thinking when I need to give it a quick go over and haven't got necessary resources available e.g when at a show in a random field etc...
This is £10...Just wanted to know your thoughts.
Anybody suggest any other products with the same idea?

What is it meant to be?

A shampoo, wax, polish or?

either way £10 is around the price for most products so you could probably pick up something well known / proven for that price

I see this all the time at work, where they play it on loop.

They spray it onto a car caked in mud and wipe clean then buff.

I expect it does horrific damage to the paintwork.

Ahh yeah it's their QD then.

I really wouldn't recommend using it how they do on the advert but as a normal QD I don't see there would be anything wrong with it.

ive got that mantis green stuff.

its okay, ive used it a couple of times, comes with 2 clothes, you spray on, wipe most of the crap off with one cloth then buff of with another.

i wouldnt use it like they advertise tho with that much shit on the car.

i tend to use mine more for cleaning things to take pictures to sell like wheels etc.

not bad.

AG Rapid detailer has been recommended a couple of times, its a best the best QD for the money. yes you can get better but costs more. I've got a bottle of Zaino Gloss Enhancer and its really really good stuff - dust repellent and anti static properties are excellent.

Is questioning whether JML products are any good actually needed?

kinda think its more important to discuss what products are actually good, from companies that specialise in car detailing products.

this is the same company that made the snuggy blanket with arms!!

i got the mantis stuff a little cheaper as they had it in makro wholesale's.ive worked in a vehicle bodyshop and it doesnt do damage.this stuff isnt too bad but doesnt compare to a bucket and sponge! good for events or cruises. as for looking at paint under halogen's,why would you do that???? if your paintwork looks bad then its the paint, not the QD!
