Red Rallye seat belts and black ABC pillars which have been sitting around for a while.
Belts need a bit of a clean but no dramas.

Another year
Tester said its really clean and in good nick. One advisory which is the cam ladders are leaking, but I knew that. Couple hours of work to sort that out.
Insurance paid for another year (all declared) and happy motoring.
Oh and a PAS Pump got fitted as the old one was shagged

Got a top mount, which I'll fit at the weekend. Hoping it'll cancel some of the vibrations from the poly lower mount but who knows.
I'll need a gearbox mount too at some point.

It's nearly there, few little things here and there but overall I'm happy.

Had a day off on Friday so I finally got around to re-sealing the cam ladders. It's one of them jobs which is a fanny on.
Action shot
For the forth time in as many months I just need to time it up and happy days

Stuck it on to see if there was any interest, I'm in two minds. I don't think it'll ever go, I can't justify a new car as I don't need one. Saxo for the win

I wouldn't bother. Saxo's are a lot easier to work on than modern cars and they aren't too slow in vts form.

Ordinarily id say keep the Saxo, however common sense is telling me you should definitely do the exact opposite of whatever Joe recommends, so I'm now confused.

Not done much lately apart from seal the leakin cam ladder. I've a solid gearbox mount to go on when I can be arsed.
Other than that just a GTI rear Bench to smarted it up a bit.

What seats are they again? Design twos or stradas?

Good job,I suppose you can leave both cams in place and still be able to seal the cam ladders okay? As I need to do the same on mine and just wanted to be sure, thanks.

Not much gone on really just been driving it.
As I get the train to work most days I decided to go back to a GTI interior and flogged the OMP seats. Sold them for what I got them for so no dramas.
Thinking about ditching the Cat Cams and going back to standard cams which won't be too bad of a job.

On another note, I might put the Super Sprint manifold on the Saxo rather than the AX. I'll have supersprint front to back, but the back box will be mild steel. Might get a stainless one.
Sure the AX will cope with a Piper 4-1
