Well took the cat cams out:

Going to be 0utying the standard ones back in, get the fuel consumption down a bit and get a couple of quid back in.

Just read through your thread. great progress. Makes me want to spent some £££ on mine but the wife would never have it lol. Before you changed to the vts engine, we're you happy with the mods you had made to the vtr engineengine. Did you notice any improvements with the new manifold etc?

To be honest no, anything I done would have been marginal. Only reason I put the manifold on the VTR was it came on a car I bought for a wing when it got scraped.

When everyone asks what performance mods doi do to a VTR the answer can only be, 16v

That's fair enough. Not sure I could commit and do without my car while doing a conversion. I look forward to more posts as your cars a minter.

Well I sold the OMP seats and went back to a GTI interior in not bad condition. I also went back to standard cams. Joe is now the proud runner of some 743's for his Saturday night trips to McDonald's.

As the wife is finally pregnant, time is a massive factor so operation AX has been moth balled although I'd bought nearly everything I needed.

Still the upside is the Piper 4-1 has been swapped for a Super Sprint 4-2-1. Super Sprint from to back but the back box is a mild steel one. I'll get a proper stainless one or a Kam Racing one soon.
