I set that time about 2 years ago..Only took me a few laps to set it..Of course there is room for improvement, i'm shit at the game..My point was SSC players didnt beat it..

I've moved on, have a proper console with GT5..

lol, a console is a console, its not like the nurburgring is any different on the PS3 other than looks. GT4 is still fine after all this time, i prefer it to forza 2!

i have to say im genuienly (sp) strugling with this game and ive never been into the whole Gran tourismo games ..... but im giving it a good shot 20ish seconds of my time and only pick it up a few days ago tbf!!!

got a lot of time on my hands though to be fair.
practice makes perfect though... so keep trying and keep going to the end! you might surprise yourself how your times drop if you just keep completing laps... you can shave a lot of time off towards the end as well by perfecting the lines.

Normally my better laps come after 4 or 5 laps into a stint, but then i get tired!

now, something like high speed ring i can cope with, know that track like the back of my hand!

Just realised my mistakes, i've always got decent laps chasing my ghost, but never saved them so i start back at square one, so i've saved my ghost so that i'm not pansying it around for the first 2 laps again
