Interior light not working
After trying to fit my footwell lights off my interior light today, after a small amount of smoke/mini fire lol, my interior light no longer comes on when the doors open. I can still switch it on manually, but it no longer comes on when the doors open, any ways i can sort this?

Im fairly clued up, just seen my stupid mistake. After having the wires connected at the interior light, before connecting the footwell lights, it looks like the two wires were touching and i guess sending a surge of current round the circuit and obviously powering nothing as the footwells wernt connected, and i guess burnt out the wire, hense the smoke. I will take of the pillar trim tomorrow and replace the wire and hopfully go from there!
My interior light works when i open the drivers side, but not the passengers side? Lol. But your right, im sort of learning how to do this 'modding' stuff!

Yeah cheers man, well i got the footwell lights working and all fitted this morning and they look great, but obviously its bothering the hell out of me that they only come on when the drivers door is open. And the interior light wires are such a pain to get too, in going to have a look at the door popper wires, something must have melted somewhere, chees for your help though mate
