multiple amps and subs? help! - Saxperience

ok this isnt for my saxo its for my cousins van, what amps would be needed for 2 subs and a set of components?
he already has a 2 channel for the comps but what about subs? will a 2 channel do? could a monoblock be used or would 2 be needed?

id keep the 2 channel amp powering the comps then have a 2nd amp powering the subs. you can use a 2 channel, 4 channel or a mono to power 2 subs whats subs are thay as you will want to get the ohm's right
