on having one thread in this section purely for items for sale locally, basically you can only post an advert in the thread once and if anybody is interested in it they pm you, all other comments that are not adverts will be deleeted, then once the item is sold the person who placed the advert can delete the advert and replace with a simple sold. this hopefully would save lots of different thread been started, basically a basic for sale section within the north east section.

what do people think about this??
the thread layout would end up similar to a classified page on pistonhead

this has been suggested before however, this is why we have a for sale section.

There are the odd one or two threads that appear in the regional sections that technically should be removed but if its a large object or something thats hard to post then they are sometimes left

nothing to stop you putting the title as
'VTS engine & box - Stockton on Tees'
or
'VTR alloys with tyres - Yorkshire area'

I see what you mean, but it would just be another area to search and IMO restrict the ammount of people who could view your listing.
