By weight do you mean fat? You gain muscle quicker when you are lean, but lose it quicker too.

you have to put weight on whilst your gaining muscle mate, you dont get fat, go to the gym, and it becomes muscle, thats soo far from what happens.

if you used to go to the gym, have a search around, or stop listening to the people who have misguided you

basically - your body has to work overtime when you are pushing it harder then it is used to. So to compensate for these changes you need to give your body everything it needs to recover from a decent workout.

ideally you want to be looking at getting a decent, stable and consistent diet plan together so you can get the most from the gym - go to google and search for 'bodybuilding diets' and get reading.

Hope this helps abit

Chris
