try something like admin admin
or administrator password
it will be around that as default
i haven't read the whole thread btw..

Now i've read the thread..
Try getting onto the router 192.168.0.1
try username admin and password sky
then go to http://192.168.0.1setup.cgi/?todo=pi...ww/netgear.cfg
Press enter, and then type: http://192.168.0.1/netgear.cfg
Press enter and save the file to your desktop. Open the file in notpead and you will see your Sky Username and Password listed.
Your username and password is encoded into the router as sky do not like using cetain other routers and your username should come up something like username@skydsl and password will be a hex number after you've done the above.

Thankyou everyone for your help, i will be having a play with it tonight, however i reset the router again this morning and everything was working. We shall see what happens later.
Paul, would love to upgrade but its not compatible with my sage accounts / payroll software.
