108 at the wheels sounds a bit low. did you try your old ecu back on?
When i got mine done i had it road mapped, then put on dyno and all he got was a bit more lower down torque, nothing out the top so you dont always need to be on the dyno to get fueling right as you have AFR readings on the laptop - assuming he mapped it with a wideband!!?? Thats the only way you cold map the Hydra.

No I didnt think to take standard Ecu mate but wish I had of now to try it.
Andy mapped it for me when he fitted predator but he doesn't have a RR so just took it there today.
Would expect to get more than 108 atw on a standard spec gti.

Unfortunately not dude, it would be somewhere between 90-100bhp ATW on a Standard GTi.
Get your Injectors cleaned if you can

Ye I've spoke to Andy who as kindly offered to have a look at the results and go from there but the only problem is he is 3 and half hours each way from me plus 80.00 in fuel.
Andy could do it over the compute but I don't have the wide band connectors for him to do it.

Not that much, but it will provide a better base for mapping (So I have heard). My friends Corsa C Z20LET had a problem with mapping due to a faulty injector and fueling.

If you read what I quoted, you will see what he means, he was saying that a Standard GTi should get more, which I replied that a Standard GTi wouldn't. We did not discuss his car during that quote.
And to your next question, no I wouldn't be happy, but when the day comes to completely doing mine over, I won't leave mine in halfs, where I am doing bits at a time, rather just spunk £4k on a engine and do it all in one. Rebuild everything.

Theres more to it than the map aswell sp dont concentrate on andy solving your issue
Cam timing could effect it that much if theyre in standard marks just tweaking them on the rollers will give a change if they havent been set up right

Without getting map on a dyno you can't see where the best place is for the cam timing. And NMS will map them there is many place that map MS software. Ring around tell them it ms software there are places that do it.

Without a dyno to aid mapping it will be really hard to get the best results.
Best ring round there a many place that map MS software. You need to tell people what software it uses not the ecu.

Okay guys thought I would keep the thread updated.
So tonight I sold the predator standalone plug and play.
Still keeping the car just going down a different route now in terms of the mapping etc.
