MW3 or Battlefield 3?
Basically my COD has died.
So, now looking at a replacement. BUT someone has mentioned Battlefield 3.
I need peoples opinions who have played both.
Pictures would be great to compare, or anyting to help!

I've played both and in my PERSONAL OPINION! Battlefield 3 wins it hands down.
The best way I can explain is this. COD is for running around like lunatics that just want to blow the hell out of each other! Battlefield is for people that want to play a more adult game that don't mind some strategy!
Played a game earlier with a few friends who happily play as a proper squad. Took control of a helicopter. Using the helicopter as a mobile spawn point we dropped a guy onto the top of the tallest mast and placed a laser targeting system. With him targeting vehicles, a friend supplying me with ammuntion and me using guided rockets we could control what vehicles the enemy could get out of the spawn.
If you don't have friends to play with then play "Rush" as then everyone is fighting over the same two small areas.
If you do then play "Conquest" as you then have several points to fight over.
With the new update, alot of the games last alot longer meaning even better play!

Played both, Still play Battlefield 3, sold MW3 after 2 weeks!
CoD just keep churning out games and put nothing into them, same map layouts, community that just sits and hides for the 10 minutes getting Killstreaks, waste of time tbh.

BF3 for me, theres more skill to the shooting, and you cant sprint around in a bush-wookie costume knifing everyone as you run by like in cod. On BF3, knifing is harder, but SO much more rewarding.
Vehicles are a big plus. As is the ability to "spot" enemies for team mates; when you see one, you aim at them and hit the back button. The enemy will be marked up for teammates, so theres a chance someone will take him out, and youll be awarded points for spotting. In some game modes, you can actually be the top player by resupplying, taking objectives, spotting and healing; you dont actually have to shoot anyone, so the gameplays much more flexible than cod.

I haven't played BF3 but seen it been played and I can say that it does look more realistic / stragegic (sp) / rewarding than MW3.
But I can't bring my self to buy it, MW3 is very addictive and the new game 'Infected' stops people camping the whole game and knifing people from bushes.
I am a Call of Duty man tbh

IMO Battlefield 3 is in another league to MW3, and i have owned every COD game since COD2 yet this is only the first Battlefield game i have owned.
I got BF3 for christmas and never played it until about 2 months ago, i haven't played COD since!
It does take alot of getting used to though if you are used to COD, don't expect it to be the same. As folk have mentioned, it takes more skill to kill and it is alot more tactical than COD.

I prefer how mw3 plays myself, Ive also played and own every cod since COD2. I own BF2 and have played Bf3 and its more tactical than cod and I sometimes find that a bit boring
