Thing is though. GTA5 is out in August on the PS3. What if the PS4 comes out a couple month later. Will it be on PS4 aswell?

ya it'll be ported no doubt.
Like GTA4 being available on both Xbox and PS3.

Well the PlayStation 4 is a massive yawn and the Xbox 720 is destined to be less powerful. Looks like another 7 years of sub par consoles.

Soooo that was one of the most massively underwelming launch events i can remember!!
Still the event was soley about trumping the new xbox announcement expected at E3.
Doesnt get away from the event was a massive damp squib. SO what its got an x86 processor and 8GB ram blah blah blah. PS3 had the cell processor thats done exactly what for it?
Gamers dont overly care for the spec, show us mind blowing demos of water running over rocks in a swaying glen of grass and trees that means we dont have to go outside!
Dualshock 4 looks... erm... wank?

Though one positive on the PC parts: it should be cheap. Using off the shelf parts that are highly available and already manufactured in bulk should see it being cheap. Doubt it though.

As long as the PS4 still plays Blu-Ray to a reasonably high standard and games are back compatible I'll buy one.
Won't be a first generation unit though. From my experience the gen 2 units are normally a big improvement over earlier releases, then 3rd gen start getting cheaply built.
