Do they make a huge difference really?

I use fog light and sidelights in fog as the main beam can reflect off the fog in front decreasing visibility. Although hids in fog lights is stupid

You can drive without fog lights and have no issue so why does it matter what colour they are???

first world issues really. Not sure about the difference, having about 2 days of fog a year, I didn't have a chance to run some tests. It seems that regular bulbs do work in the first place.

It takes a quite small effort to install and i found a significant difference in lighting output. 3000K bulbs also give a better contrast in snow covered roads.

I think foglights are really helpful when driving on remote areas, with lots of rabbits and other animals trying to jump in front of your car.

And they can even be turned off as easily as they are turned on, so you're not irritating oncoming traffic anyway.
