sounds decent enough idea to me but im sure something is going on in V4 to make the members car gallery better or something, sure someone will clear that up

The 'Your Saxo Pictures / Video' forum is essentially for progress threads.
It was cleared out of all the junk images people used to post in it. Now its used mainly for progress threads & event picture threads + the odd few picture threads where people who dont have progress threads post individual threads about their cars.
I dont think a progress forum is needed, next it will be an event pictures forum and on and on. Im not in the loop on whats being incorperated in2 v4, but i havent heard anything about a progress forum. We are going to have our own profile pages i believe though which will probably be our own progress areas.
The forum should be as simple as possible, but no simpler

Out of curiosity do any of you use thread subscriptions?
An easy way to keep track of your fave progress threads is to subscribe to them & u have options to be notified by email etc when they have been updated, or i use no notification but when i get online the first place i check is my User CP and it lists any subscribed threads updated since your last visit to them!
Alternatively you can use the search button to search for 'progress' within the pics & vids forum
I know those answers sound like worksrounds but we aready have a pretty vast forums list & there are already tools in place to avoid having to keep extending it!
P.S. your progress thread is in my progress threads subscriptions folder riggsy

bump, this is a good idea. Would be good for newer members as well to look around other peoples progress and get ideas for their own cars.
Yes it is happening in V4 but this would take 30 seconds to implement and would be a tempory solution for the moment. I'm happy to volunteer searching for progress threads and moving them there if need be
