Oh Dammit - WHY!!!
Nope, not 3RRoD.
Console wont read the disc for what ever reason.
*opens tray*
*inserts disc*
*closes tray*
*reads disc*
*open tray (again)*
Just tried this with Far Cry 1, Fusion Frenzy 2 and Burnout Paradise. BP was brand new from a sealed box so and the others were 2nd hand from eBay.
BUT
3 of 3 discs wont read so whats causing it?
Tried resetting and still wont work.
NEED HELP PLEASE!

Happend to me earlier. You just have to man it through and eventually it will work.

have you tried one of those cleaning disks with the tiny bristles on?
mine used to do it none stop but after that clean it worked just fine

Nah I need to send it off but they dont accept Maestro, only Visa/M'card.
PS2 is still fun after all this time.
