Its only cos it's a spoon rocker cover and tbh when it starts to flake I reckon it'll get refurbed in OEM black.
Cheers Jazz, what's your new motor?

Mitsubishi GTO V6 Twin Turbo matey, only just picked it up yesterday. 447bhp at the wheels which makes it about 540bhp at the fly. Only a weekend toy though, can't be using this thing for a daily lol.

Looks good Jazz.
The yellow is a bit brash but I might sell it on yet.

Truth be told I've spent that long without music in the car that I'm used to it now, even in cars with stereos I generally switch them off.
Well small update, the car has been blowing like a mofo for a while and tbh I didn't mind it as it made some sexy noises but I decided enough was enough and decided I was keeping the car so got it fixed along with a few other bits.
Parts fitted:
JDM DC2 manifold
New sump
New water pump
Cam belt
New OEM B-pipe
New oil, plugs and filters
Cusco master cylinder brace
Bits still to do:
Discs and pads
Fit 2.5" straight through exhaust with decat
Send for paint
Tbh I don't think I'll be going through with the B20 as I want a standardish EG6 so I'm now on the look out for a LHD EG either rolling shell or full car as the swap I want to do IMO looks crap on RHD cars as the brake servo and cylinder are on the wrong side.

Some new bits for the old girl.
Noticed the car bubbling after a run, let it cool and the rad cap was kippered so needed one ASAP, ordered at 2pm and it arrived by 10am the next day.
Got fed up of the rubbish rear visibility in the EG so decided a wide angle mirror was in order. It was a toss up between the Broadway and the Spoon, after reading a few reviews I settled for the spoon as I still wanted the passenger to be able to use their sun visor. Really impressed with the fit and finish, looks totally standard and fits the mirror recess perfectly. Rear visibility is massively improved and the passenger side blind spot is totally eliminated as you can see the entire passenger rear window and still see the entire rear window + a bit more.
This came up at the right price and I've wanted one for ages, finding them in grey is hard work.
This one was just because. Not sure I'm keen though after fitting it, car does feel different. Sure I'll feel differently when I'm used to it. Again great service, ordered at 13:30 and it arrived be 09:30 the following morning.

Also picked up this KEY!S Racing gear knob. Pretty rare over here and I've wanted one since my first EG about 6 years ago lol.

Car failed the MOT on a blown number plate bulb, soon fixed.
Then there was some play in one of the front antirollbar bushes so got that fixed and at the same time finally got around to getting the Mugen 5way adjustable suspension fitted.
So finally after 12 months I'm rocking the Mugen sus, and it feels lush to drive.

Thinking ATR red recaro for the passenger and then my Buddyclub drivers seat, though a Spoon Kevlar drivers seat would be nice.
The suspension is spot on, highly recommend it.
